Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on application development by identifying customer requirements, analysing gaps in current technology, and creating innovative methods to enhance measurement capabilities
• Partner with teams across the organization to promote continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot issues effectively, leveraging collaboration with team members
• Conduct tests, analyse and present data, and prepare reports to share findings with stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply systems thinking to define and manage (sub-) system specifications and breakdowns, ensuring alignment with project goals and performance criteria.
• Assess, manage and improve (sub-) system performance (and budgets), ensuring a clear understanding of how each module impacts overall system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate complex (sub-) systems that incorporate mechanical, electrical, control and software components.
• Work hands-on with the equipment and apparatus to build an in-depth understanding of the machine operating characteristics and prove performance of the implemented designs.
• Prepare and maintain various types of documentation.
• Support applications, manufacturing and service in fault identification and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and test complex sub-assemblies and assemble the tools to the necessary standard using build and Test documents.
• Assembly of cable assemblies to IPC standards
• Ability to Solder to IPC Standards
• Identify and report problems with manufacturing.
• Assist the manufacturing team in maintaining and improving processes and manufacturing quality.
• Support the Manufacturing Manager in delivering on time product to the customer.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the production and cleanroom areas.
• Kitting of assemblies to the BOM when required.
• Work at overseas manufacturing sites when required.
• Support the manufacturing team in maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own key elements of the system & sub-systems
• Define & maintain system functionality breakdowns to mechanical, electronic, optical and software modules
• Specify the overall (sub-) system design, defining the contributions from mechanics, optics, electronics and software & communicate to all contributors
• Work hands-on with the equipment & apparatus to build an in-depth understanding of the machine operating characteristics & prove performance of the implemented designs.
• Evaluate & maintain system performance budgets – understanding how each module contributes to the total system performance.
• Feed forward learning from integration testing into new designs.
• Support applications, manufacturing & service in fault identification & resolution
• Communicate effectively at all levels with diverse set of peers, customers, and vendors
• Work effectively & flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Prepare & maintain documentation when required
