Paul has significant commercial experience in the semiconductor, display and photonic industries. Over the last 20 years he has been involved in a number of successful start-up businesses, taking technology from an early development stage into production, customer delivery, and eventual company sale. Paul enjoyed an early career as a senior semiconductor engineer at IBM and Sharp, and as CTO at Cambridge Display Technology.

Andrew is a founder of Infinitesima and his research has led to the development of the company's core technologies. As CTO, Andrew leads the company's research and development activities and has been instrumental in delivering all of the company's major technological breakthroughs.
Prior to founding Infinitesima, Andrew carried out his research in the Physics Department at the University of Bristol. During this time, Andrew was named a Research Fellow of the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. He earned a Proleptic Lectureship in Physics at the University in May 2003.
Andrew's research has been concentrated in the area of nanoscience with a focus on developing novel tools for imaging at the nano-scale based on scanning probe microscope methods.
